SPOKANE, July 31—Victoria's Athletics tonight wound up their current Western International League baseball series with a two-to-one margin over Spokane as they posted an 11 to 5 victory in a free-hitting contest studded with errors.
Victoria opened the game with two first-inning runs and maintained the lead throughout, pounding Al Raimondi and Jack Tising for 11 hits and cashing in on five Spokane errors. Pete Hughes knocked in a tw-run homer in the fourth.
Spokane hitters were even more effective, collecting 13 blows off Tony Ferrara and Joe Blankenship, but the hits came at the wrong times. Spokane left three men stranded on base in the sixth and two in the eighth.

Marshall Released
VANCOUVER, July 31—Big John Marshall was released tonight by the Vancouver Capilanos.
The Bellingham boy had a record of three wins and nine losses in the Western International League and was 1 and 3 with Vancouver.
He has been signed by Bremerton, the team the Caps face tonight.
