TACOMA, July 7—A 14-hit attack, with four by Peterson and three by Clifford, led the Tacoma Tigers to a 9-5 win over the Vancouver Capilanos Sunday in the first game of a Western International League double-bill.
Abbott homered and doubled for four RBIs.
The Caps lost leading hitter Lou Estes, batting .307, in the first game when he possibly fractured an ankle sliding into home plate.
Bob Synder tossed a five-hitter in the night game as Vancouver got by Tacoma 3-2, thanks to a run in the last inning of the seven-inning contest.
Charlie Mead had a pair of doubles two bring in two runs, and Ray Orteig brought in the other for Vancouver in a three-single night.

SEATTLE, July 7—The Seattle Rainiers have signed George Ho, and have assigned him to Vancouver of the Western International League.
Ho was just discharged from the U.S. Army Intelligence Corps and before joining uip, played full seasons with Hartford of the Eastern League (Class A) and Chatanooga of the Southern Association (Class AA).
Ho is an infielder-outfielder.
