BREMERTON, June 9—Danny Amaral smashed an 11th inning home run Sunday which gave the Bremerton Bluejackets an 8-7 Western International League baseball victory over the Vancouver Capilanos.
It was Amaral's second four-bagger of the game. The first came off starting pitcher Bob Snyder in the second inning, the last off reliever Alex Palica.
Bill Barisoff also touched all four bases for Bremerton while Cleve Ramsey and Silverthorn homered for the Caps.
Silverthorn's smash gave the Caps a 7-5 lead going into the ninth panel, but Snyder's wildness—he walked nine—and doubled by Ray Medeghini and Frank Volpi squared the game at 7-7. That's when Palica was called into the game.
Snyder had previously walked Volpi three times.
