SALEM — Salem's Senators took full advantage of the wildness of Tacoma's ace southpaw Cy Greenlaw, here Friday night to win the first game of a WI league doubleheader, 5-3. The game was delayed for over an hour when a large cluster of lights burned out. The second game was called off-because of the time limit.
The Solons clustered four runs in the fifth frame, on two walks, two infield hits, a double with the bases populated by Dick Wenner and another base knock by Shortstop Wally Flager. Two walks and Duane Crawford's single produced the final score in the sixth.
