New Pilot for Salem

Ted Gullic Named to Manage Salem Senators
SALEM - Ted Gullic, utility player for the Portland Beavers since 1943, Tuesday was named to manage the Salem Senators of the Western International league.
Gullic, a former Milwaukee player in the American Association for 12 years, succeeds the late Leo (Frisco) Edwards who was buried here Tuesday.
Bill Klepper, general manager of the Pacific Coast League Beavers, the parent club of the Senators, said Gullic would take over the post immediately and manage from the third base sack.
